Story time

Ok, so I know I haven't told you any "Navy stories", mainly because Kevin's not allowed to tell me everything. However this was a funny experience.

After Kevin and I got married and moved to Norfolk, VA   I had to get a spouse ID card, which gives me access to the military grocery store, the navy mall, gets me on base, etc. SO when we went to get my very 1st ID card I had to have to other forms of identification with me. So I had my Delaware driver's license and my passport. So I gave the woman my birth date, she took my picture, I had to sign the card....then we left.

Well I didn't notice until later that my birth date on my military dependent card was wrong. VERY wrong. My REAL birthday is 05/05/1988  and my ID read 05/04/1753.  The running joke was "You look good for your age."  I didn't know how "good" I looked until we found out that the Navy was taking money from Kevin as if he was married to a 60+ year old woman. When we went to get that fixed, they looked at me and said, "Nope you're definitely not 60 or older." They also got a good laugh out of it too.

Quite funny!!! When I went to get it fixed the woman who re-did my ID got a good laugh out of it too. She showed all her co-workers.

Hope you got a good laugh too!! :)
