My Friday

Early this afternoon I volunteered to work with adults with disabilities. First the adults colored a St. Patrick's Day themed coloring sheet, then we cut it out for them and glued it on a green piece of paper, which were going to be hung up around the room later. After that we helped the adults string cheerios on a string to make necklaces, as a snack for them to take home. The volunteers and myself enjoyed helping out.

Tonight I went to Bunko night at Church. I had never heard of it, let alone played it before. Well let me tell you, it is so fun!! I think I had beginners luck. There are several tables with 4 people sitting at a table. You have a partner, which is the person sitting diagonally across from you. So for round 1 you and your partner are trying to roll as many number 1's as you can. For every 1 you roll, you get 1 point. However if you roll three 1's that's Bunko and that's worth 21 points. If you roll three of any other number, that's called Funko, and that's worth 5 points. When you don't roll any 1's you pass the dice to the other team. Once you hear the bell ring, the round is over, and you count up which team has the most points. The winners stay at the table, and the losers get up and move to the next table. The winners however can not be partners for the next round. After each round, you have a paper that says win or lose, and you circle whatever your outcome is. So round 2, you and your partner have to roll as many number 2's as possible, and so on and so forth. *Melissa, please correct me if I explained the game wrong.* Like I said I think I had beginners luck. I won 10 rounds out of 12, and got a prize for winning the most rounds!! I won an organizational redesign. The gift certificate reads: "This entitles you to one hour planning consult and seven hours of organizational redesign of your own personal space." I can't wait to get this 2nd bedroom organized!! This woman doesn't know what she's in for!! Haha!! Throughout the evening they were doing raffle prizes, and everyone received a raffle ticket when they signed in. So my raffle prize was a free 6 month membership to Planet Fitness!! I am pretty excited about that too!!! Now I just have to find out where the nearest Planet Fitness is.

I had a fantastic Friday!! Hope you all did too!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Please continue to pray for all those who were affected by the Tsunami, and for all the military being sent out to help with the relief.
