The sunset on our way to P.F. Changs for dinner

Saturday night we went to P.F. Changs, for the very first time.

When we got there, the wait was an hour and a half to two hours. However
they had a first available option, which would be sitting outside with heaters and
coffee and tea was on the house.

So we opted for first available.

Kevin didn't bring his jacket. He figured he wouldn't need one since
he'd be going from the car to inside the restaurant.

It was cold, especially when the wind blew a little.

See the lamp above my head? Those were the heaters.

Kevin had the Shrimp With Candied Walnuts

I had the Double Pan-Fried Noodles

We both agreed the food was delicious.

Needless to say, we got free coffee.

Last night I made "Campfired Up Sloppy Joes"
They're not spicy at all!! They were DELICIOUS!!!!
Here's the recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
-1 & a half pounds of lean ground beef
- half cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 medium red bell pepper, cored, seeded & chopped
- 1 large garlic clove crushed : *I used minced garlic instead*
- half cup of Ketchup
- half cup barbecue sauce
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 8oz can baked beans
- Shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Brown ground beef, onion, bell pepper & garlic 6-8 minutes in large skillet over medium high heat, stirring to break up meat. Drain and discard excess fat. Transfer beef mixture to crock-pot.

2. Combine ketchup, barbeque sauce, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar & chili powder in small bowl. Transfer to crock-pot.

3. Add baked beans. Stir well to combine. Cover; cook on HIGH 3 Hours.

4. To serve, fill split rolls with half cup sloppy joe mixture. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, if desired, before topping sandwich with roll lid.

Serving suggestions: serve with a side of coleslaw.
